About This Product

The Yoshino Cryptomeria， also known as a Japanese Cedar， is a fast-growing evergreen tree with blue-green Summer foliage and bronze-green winter leaves. It exhibits a loose pyramidal shape and is often planted with others to create a high hedge to block out unwanted sights and sounds. It reaches a height of 40 ft.-50 ft. and a spread of 20 ft.-30 ft. Best grown in moist， rich， fertile， acidic， well-drained soils in full Sun. Tolerates light shade. Soils should not be allowed to dry out. Site in a location protected from drying winter winds. The Yoshino is cold hardy in USDA Zones 6-9. The tree is shipped in a #3 pot with a minimum height of 18 in.
