About This Product

The Floribunda Crabapple is one of the best crabapples for form and flower. It is a Japanese flowering crabapple， a deciduous tree whose deep-red buds bloom into beautiful white flowers when spring arrives. With its profusion of beautiful flowers and its attractive form， the Floribunda makes a particularly nice specimen tree. From August to October， the yellow and red fruits appear， providing a popular food for wildlife or they can be harvested to make a delicious jelly. The Floribunda has a medium growth rate and reaches a mature height of about 15ft. to 25 ft. It is hardy to minus 15° (USDA Hardiness Zones 4-8). The Floribunda grows in moist， well-drained， acidic soil， in full sun locations for best flowering. They are not recommended for sandy soil due to their inability to tolerate drought， but any other soil is suitable， including clay. The tree is shipped in a #5 pot with an average tree height between 2 ft. to 3 ft.
