A New Mexican heirloom that produces long, smooth, pendant fruits with a mildly hot flavor that ripens green to red. Most popular Chile commercially grown in New Mexico for drying (poblano peppers) and other uses. Adaptable to warm regions but loves the hot days and cool nights of the southwest.
