About This Product
Considered an heirloom variety, Elberta is still one of the most popular peach trees sold today. Early spring puts on a beautiful display of pink blossoms that will eventually turn to fruit. Elberta is a freestone variety and produces large, yellow, and juicy peaches that can be eaten fresh or canned. The peaches ripen in mid-late summer. At maturity, it can reach a height of 10 ft.-14 ft. and a spread of 8 ft.-12 ft. Elberta is a self-pollinator and requires 800-950 chill hours during the dormancy period. It is grown best in USDA Zones 5-9 and is shipped in a #5 pot with an average tree height of 2 ft.
