About This Product

Garden State Bulb Meyer Lemon Trees come directly from our farms and growers in the US. They will arrive in a 1 gallon growers pot and are carefully hand packed in a protective sleeve for shipment. You will receive the entire root ball and soil in the container, rather than just a bare root. Meyer lemons, known for their mild acidity and slightly sweeter taste compared to regular lemons, are a delightful addition to any garden. These lemons are a unique hybrid, resulting from a cross between a regular lemon and a mandarin orange. When planted in the ground, our Meyer Lemon Trees have the potential to grow up to an impressive ten feet tall, creating a stunning focal point in your outdoor space. You can enjoy attractive green leaves, with beautiful white blossoms that transform into fresh, smooth lemons. Lemon trees bear fruit multiple times during season that are about 4 in. in diameter. They are perfect for cooking, lemonade, baking, cleaning or even your favorite cocktails.

  • Light requirements: partial Sun to partial shade (Indoor place near a bright window)
  • Maturity height: 8 ft. to 10 ft. tall
  • Includes 1-lemon tree in 1-gallon pot, temperature controlled and shipped with care

  • Planting Instructions for Container:1. Carefully remove any packaging from the planter and select a container large enough for the plant (5-15 gal). Select a well-drained soil and fill bottom of the pot. When placing the plant in the pot, check that the existing soil level aligns with the top of the pot (add or remove soil if necessary).2. Finish filling the pot with soil and tamp lightly. Place in a bright location that receives at least 6-8 hours of sunlight per day. Citrus trees do not tolerate hot or cold drafts, so keep away from air conditioning and heating vents.3. Water regularly but allow the soil to dry out to about 3 inches deep before watering again. Do not over water, but never allow the soil to completely dry out.
  • Planting Instructions for In Ground1. Carefully remove any packaging from the planter and select a place with the highest elevation and most available sunlight (at least 6-8 hours of sunlight per day).2. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Set the top of your root ball even with your ground level, and fill back the soil to the ground level and tamp.3. Newly planted trees should be watered regularly for the first three months, if rains are inadequate. The soil should dry down between watering. Do not overwater.
