About This Product
Garden State Bulb Persian Lime Trees come directly from our farms and growers in the US. Each tree is carefully hand-packed in a protective sleeve for shipment, guaranteeing that it arrives in perfect condition. Unlike other trees, our Persian Lime Trees come in a 1 gallon growers pot, providing you with the entire root ball and soil in the container. This means that you don't have to worry about transplanting a bare root tree and can enjoy the convenience of a ready-to-plant tree. Persian Lime Trees are unique hybrid trees that are a cross between key lime and lemon, resulting in a delightful combination of flavors. When planted in the ground, these trees have the potential to grow up to ten feet tall, making them a stunning addition to any garden or landscape. You can enjoy attractive green leaves, with beautiful white blossoms that transform into fresh, smooth limes. Lime trees bear fruit multiple times during season that are about 4 in. in diameter. Whether you're a cooking enthusiast, a baking aficionado, a juice lover, or a cocktail connoisseur, our Persian Lime Trees have got you covered. The limes produced by these trees are ideal for adding a burst of tangy flavor to your dishes, desserts, and beverages. Planting Instructions for Container1. Carefully remove any packaging from the planter and select a container large enough for the plant (5-15 gal). Select a well-drained soil and fill bottom of the pot. When placing the plant in the pot, check that the existing soil level aligns with the top of the pot (add or remove soil if necessary).2. Finish filling the pot with soil and tamp lightly. Place in a bright location that receives at least 6-8 hours of sunlight per day. Citrus trees do not tolerate hot or cold drafts, so keep away from air conditioning and heating vents.3. Water regularly but allow the soil to dry out to about 3 in. deep before watering again. Do not over water, but never allow the soil to completely dry out.
Planting Instructions for In Ground1. Carefully remove any packaging from the planter and select a place with the highest elevation and most available sunlight (at least 6-8 hours of sunlight per day).2. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Set the top of your root ball even with your ground level, and fill back the soil to the ground level and tamp.3. Newly planted trees should be watered regularly for the first three months, if rains are inadequate. The soil should dry down between watering. Do not overwater.
