About This Product
'Chinzan' burst into bloom in late spring with bright salmon-pink blossoms that draw in pollinators such as butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Its vivid blossoms emerge again in late summer and fall, followed by a dramatic color transformation as its foliage takes on purple-red shades. 'Chinzan' makes an excellent evergreen addition to woodland gardens, low borders, Japanese gardens, and even containers. Simply plant in partial shade and well-drained, acidic soil, and enjoy its beauty year-after-year.
Includes 1 azalea chinzan in a 2.25 Gal. grower pot
Best suited for USDA hardiness zones 6-9, but will perform well in colder zones with proper winter protection
Mature size is 2 ft. tall and 3 ft. W
Bright pink, trumpet-shaped flowers open atop narrow foliage in late spring and fall
Dwarf, mounding shrub tolerates shade and makes an excellent container specimen
Performs best in part sun or filtered shade; morning sun and afternoon shade is ideal
