Showy white blossoms are highly fragrant， making this shrub a good choice for planting near walkways. Thick foliage is dark green and lustrous， adding nice appeal through Summer. Mature plants have excellent heat and drought tolerance. Leaves turn maroon in fall but remain evergreen in zones 7 and 8. Reaches a mature height of 10 ft. with a spread of 5 and withstands temperatures down to， 20°F.
