About This Product

Native to the Iberian Peninsula， the Portuguese Laurel is a beautiful and tough shrub boasting glossy， leathery foliage， contrasting bright red stems and fragrant white flower spikes in spring. Being in the Cherry family， small red inedible but ornamental cherries appear in Summer that darken to an almost black purple by autumn. Often used as a hedge due to the ornamental appeal of it's contrasting colors and overall hardiness/low-maintenance. Can reach 25 ft. although easy to keep pruned to desired height， with a width of 10 ft.
