This fast growing tropical perennial shrub has bright green foliage and is prized for the profusion of phlox-like， sky blue flower clusters nearly year round， with peak from spring through fall. It mounds and uprightly climbs with branches that resemble vines， reaching about 5 ft. tall to 8 ft. W. Thriving in the Southern heat， plant this butterfly magnet in sun in a fairly well drained soil. Drought tolerant once established， be sure to water plants often the first few years. Enjoy this versatile beauty in sunny beds and borders， as a foundation planting， as a privacy hedge， even in containers set on decks and patios. This sturdy， evergreen shrub can be grown outdoors in USDA Plant Zones 9-11， in Zones 7-8， grown them in containers and store indoors to protect from frost and freeze.
