The Flordahome Pear Tree is the perfect tree to grow on the Gulf Coast! Bring some sweetness to your beach house for the ultimate tropical \"pearadise\". The evergreen tree will produce tiny white blossoms in early spring， followed by mature greenish-yellow pears that can be eaten straight off the tree. The Flordahome pear taste will awaken your senses with a slightly tart and sweet punch. These semi-hard pears are great for canning and will add a wonderful sweetness to any dessert.
  • The Flordahome pear harvest date is in late July to early August depending on your location in the United States. Plant this variety of pear in your landscape as a standalone tree， in groups of 2-3 for best cross-pollination， or in a backyard orchard to get a plethora of fruit for fresh eating!
  • This pear variety is sometimes called the Florida Pear tree because it only requires 150-250 chill hours to set fruit. This Pyrus cultivar can be planted in USDA growing zones 6-10.
