About This Product

Bronze Beauty Cleyera is a dense evergreen shrub from Southern Living Plants. It gets its name from the bronze-hued new growth that emerges in the spring and after pruning. New growth fades to green， making for a stunning contrast of old and new foliage on the shrub. Topping out at 10 feet tall and 6 feet wide， this shrub makes a perfectly compact privacy screen or tall hedge that requires very little maintenance. Use it along foundations or fences to add height to the back of a garden area or to hide construction elements like air conditioning units or meters. It can take the sun to shade， is pest resistant， drought resistant， and disease resistant， making it a reliable addition to any landscape. This shrub will grow best in a location that receives full to part sun， and that has well-drained slightly acidic soil.
